Derek Carroll has spent his career in the video and film production business working as a hired gun, making a name for himself as a Lighting Cameraman, on the projects of others. Working with agencies, corporate clients and independent producers, Derek’s experience has run the gamut of the production industry; broadcast, entertainment, commercials, industrials, corporate image/ promotion/marketing, training, education, and documentary. It’s been a great way to make a living, but all the while Derek harbored a desire to explore a more personal vision.
That long harbored desire has led to the creation of Javelina Waltz Productions, a Houston, Texas based, non-fiction film production arm of, Carroll Productions.
